The atmosphere is intensified by the stage location, performed at sunset with the majestic Uluwatu Temple in the background, creating a spectacular experience that combines music, dance and Balinese cultural tradition.

Kecak Dance’s performance is staged every day of the year (including holidays) in two time slots: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The performance lasts 1 hour and is held at the amphitheater located in the Uluwatu Temple complex in Bali.

Uluwatu Temple is located in the southernmost part of the island, in Pecatu village, Badung regency. It is 20 km from Denpasar airport from which it can be reached in about 1 hour’s drive.

Is Kecak Dance worth it?
The temple in Uluwatu and the Kecak Fire Dance Show were one of the highlights of our trip. The weather and the sunset were lovely during our visit, so they made the atmosphere of the show even better. It was a unique sight for the eyes and ears and we had never seen anything like it before.
